Section on Statistics in Genomics and Genetics
American Statistical Association
The Section on Statistics in Genomics and Genetics (SSGG) of the American Statistical Association (ASA) began to host the annual STATGEN Conference since 2024. With the rapid development in the genomics, genetics and bioinformatics related fields, statisticians and data scientists have played a critical role to design, analyze, interpret and disseminate the results and to bring biological, translational and clinical impact. The annual conference provides an ideal forum for SSGG members and friends to present, connect, and foster ideas.
