    The course includes statistical methodology, case studies, and use of the R rms package. Emphasis is on developing predictive models, model validation, and quantifying predictive accuracy, plus many more topics including navigating the choice of statistical models vs. machine learning and an introduction to Bayesian modeling.

    I highly recommend this course, it may be the single most important regression course I've taken (both times!). What I learned has greatly benefited my professional career.

    Professor Harrell's insight into Bayesian modeling provides exciting new opportunities in how we understand what we see in the data.
