Dear ASA Community,
The report released in July is part of an ongoing project to assess the health of the federal statistical agencies. We have now started work on our second year report (aiming for 2nd or 3rd quarter release) and are requesting input broadly to inform the work.
An excellent opportunity to provide that input is the September 6 quarterly meeting of the Council of Professional Associations on Federal Statistics: https://copafs.org/september-2024-quarterly-meeting/. It's a great agenda so I encourage you to attend the entire meeting. We are scheduled for 1-2:30 pm ET. Registration is required. I hope you join the discussion.
We also welcome feedback through this Google form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfW2kHd9x9r6fvnp-C_82zIrRvruIFIIMNdyGkiwLkxP57OCQ/viewform?usp=sf_link (https://bit.ly/NationsDataAtRiskFeedback). The feedback through this form is anonymous unless one chooses to provide contact information.
Thank you,
Steve
