    RTI has several positions open for bio/statisticians and epidemiologists. The Center for Clinical Research Network Coordination has four in particular that are listed below. Specific information about RTI and the current postings can be found at www.rti.org. Search under the "Careers" heading to see all job postings or search by specific keywords. If you would share this with others who may be interested or know of someone who might be interested, I would appreciate it. 

    1. Senior Statistician/Principal Investigator, Data Coordinating Centers – PhD Level (210UL)
      1. A doctorate in statistics, biostatistics, or related field and at least 8-10 years experience working in multicenter clinical research, preferably including randomized trials.
      2. Proven track record in successfully leading or co-leading large complex public health research projects, including multicenter coordinating centers.
    2. Early Career Research Biostatistician - PhD Level (210X1)
      1. Doctorate in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, statistical genetics or related field.
      2. 1- 5 years of related experience
      3. This role differs from posting 1, in that we are looking for someone without PI experience but who wants to move into the PI role.
    3. Project Specific Senior Statistician (210X0)
      1. A doctorate in statistics, biostatistics, or related field and at least 5 years experience supporting clinical studies or research networks, before or after receiving terminal degree.
      2. Previous leadership role on a large complex public health research project such as a multicenter coordinating center.
      3. Looking for an early career PhD for a specific project who can to move into the Co-PI role when the PI retires
      4. Note this job is for the RTP area only.
    4. Biostatistician (210X2)
      1. Master's in biostatistics, statistics, mathematics, or related field with at least 3 years of clinical trials experience or Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of clinical trials experience. 
      2. Experience working with SAS and Excel. Experience with other statistical packages is a plus (e.g., R, Stata, PASS, NQuery, S-Plus, etc.).
      3. Someone with strong technical skills who wants to continue to grow in that area rather than possibly move into a PI role.
