    Position: The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the College of Public Health, University of Georgia, invites applications for a non-tenure track Lecturer position. The position is an academic year appointment (9 months) with an opportunity for additional instruction during the summer.  This position is available beginning January 2022, but must begin no later than August 2022.

    Qualifications: Minimum qualifications are a terminal degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology or related discipline prior to the start date. Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate instruction or a history in Biostatistics, and the ability to teach online and use distance technologies to extend the classroom are preferred.

    Responsibilities: The successful candidate will teach four undergraduate courses per semester in Biostatistics. The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics is composed of 26 faculty members, and 34 graduate students. The department offers a PhD degree, MS degree, and an MPH degree with a concentration in Biostatistics. The position will be 100% instruction. Applicants must be able to teach the following topics: "Elementary Biostatistics" and "Intermediate Biostatistics". The University of Georgia has a widely respected Center for Teaching and Learning for pedagogical enhancement that will be are source for course development, including online courses.
