    Friends,
Ron Wasserstein (ASA), Fritz Scheuren (ASA), Faina Linkov and I met with Ismail Serageldin, director of the library of  alexandria.  As you know we have built the largest Research methods library at the library of alexandria (Please donate books).

We discussed building a research methods center at the Library of Alexandria to handle questions and provide information related to statistics in our global research center.  We envision that the Serageldin Euclid Research center could focus on.

    1. Classical Statistical Methods
    2. W. Edward Deming Methods (e.g. TQM)
    3. Big Data Methods
    4 Statistical Archive
    5. Statistical literacy in Developing countries
    6. Application of statistics to policy

The library already has a massive super computer and we built a network of over 1 million faculty world wide. We want to help people world wide with these specific topics, as well as to work with you and the world to establish and disseminate materials to improve research methods literacy.

You can write to me at ronaldlaporte@gmail.com, or reply to this message

    thanks
    ron
