The Department of Statistics of Florida State University (FSU) and the International Indian Statistical Association (IISA) are delighted to announce that registration is now open for the "Theory and Foundations of Statistics in the Era of Big Data" conference, taking place in Tallahassee, Florida, USA, from April 19 to 21, 2024. The conference promises a dynamic format, featuring three plenary talks, six invited sessions, two special invited sessions for early-career researchers, a poster session for graduate students and junior faculty, and a banquet.
Partially supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation (DMS-2403813) and a grant from the National Security Agency, we are pleased to offer reimbursement of registration fees for most student participants, postdoctoral researchers, and junior faculty. Travel awards and student awards are also available for selected conference participants. Priority will be given to early-career researchers and under-represented groups.
