Candidates are required to have a RESEARCH FOCUS ON INFECTIOUS DISEASES of global significance and a doctorate in epidemiology, biostatistics or a related discipline. The successful candidate will be committed to developing a career as an independently-funded researcher, will hold a secondary appointment in the UVM Larner College of Medicine, and will be a junior investigator in UVM's NIH-funded Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) on translational global infectious disease research.
