    Dear colleagues,

My wife, who recently finished her Phd in Epidemiology, has been fortunate enough to get a visiting professor job starting this Fall.  She has been assigned to teach an undergraduate section of "Introduction to Epidemiology" and a graduate version of "Introduction to Epidemiology".  Although she is excited about the opportunity she has little teaching experience so I volunteered to reach out to this group for possible advice.

    1)  Have any of you taught both grad and undergrad epi?  If so what do you see as the big differences between the courses?

    2)  Are there any educational resources out there to help her with the planning and implementation of her classes?  Some sort of epidemiological equivalent of GAISE?

    3)  Any other tips or words of wisdom?

Thanks for taking the time to hopefully help out a new and enthusiastic educator.

    Cheers,

    --Scott
