    Hello all,

    (Apologies for cross-posting)

Sarah Hughes and I are reviewing literature, conference presentations, or case studies about data collection challenges particularly in *Africa* and we have two quick questions that we hope to have your inputs - sharing your experience with few words, sentences, or pointing us to any documentation/literature are really appreciated. We would love to set up a phone call within next month or two if it works better for you!

    1. What are unique (survey) data collection challenges particularly in *Africa* (e.g., varies of languages, lack of research infrastructure, conflict area, etc)?

    2. What future developments of improving/enhancing (survey) data collection in Africa?

Please contact Sarah Hughes <shughes@mathematica-mpr.com> and Yu-chieh (Jay) Lin <yuchiehl@umich.edu> directly. We will be planning to compile all the notes received and share them with you in the near future too!

Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you!
    Sarah and Jay

What's the objective of collecting these information? Do you plan to improve data collection in Africa?
