Abstract: While few professionals like us were taught how to effectively work on teams, most of us spend a great deal of time on goals that require interacting with team members. There are core capabilities that enable success and many traps to fall into. Because there is a real competitive advantage to strong teams we will engage the 5 areas that add up to success for teams. Join us to learn about collaborating effectively as a team member looking to strengthen an agile approach and make a commitment to high performing teamwork.

Speaker bio: Janet Steinwedel, PhD, President of Leader’s Insight, is an executive coach and leadership development consultant with more than 25 years of experience working in a variety of industries with a broad range of leaders. She coaches individual executives as well as teams and groups, focusing on developing conscious, balanced leaders. Prior to starting her own business for the last 13 years, she led Change Management, Organizational and Leadership Development for AstraZeneca. Dr. Steinwedel is also the author of two books written for Executive Coaches. She is a long time member of the Philadelphia Society for People and Strategy and is currently leading their Executive Coaching SIG. She is an adjunct professor in the HRD Masters program at Villanova University and provides Leadership Lectures for Neumann University. (www.leadersinsight.com)
