Hi all,
I won't be able to make it to the CAS meeting. I have our annual Faculty Retreat tomorrow. Before anyone gets jealous, the retreat is an all-day faculty meeting in a nearby town.
Updates from me are that the 2014 JSM Mentoring program seemed to go very well. I only heard a few positive things. I am planning on sending the 53 mentoring pairs a quick email survey asking if they met during JSM, if they have met since or have made plans to meet, and if they have any feedback/comments.
I spoke to the Council of Sections about the CAS mentoring program and Mentoring in a Box. I heard back from 5 or so sections that want to start a mentoring program as soon as we develop Mentoring in a Box.
