Please join us for our annual Business and Economics Statistics Section meeting at the JSM meetings, to be held at 6 PM on Tuesday, August 2nd, at the Hilton Chicago Hotel (720 S. Michigan Avenue), room H-PDR6. At this meeting, Bob Parker will present the 2016 Shiskin Award to John Abowd, Edmund Ezra Day Professor at Cornell University and currently Associate Director for Research and Methodology and Chief Scientist at the Census Bureau. We will also discuss section activities over the past year and for the coming year. An offsite reception will follow, hopefully involving Chicago-style pizza.
