The website for the annual meeting of the Statistical Methods in Imaging Section (SMI) is available here. The conference will be fully in-person and will be held on June 1-3, 2026, at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. SMI 2026 aims to bring together investigators from students to established researchers who are working on methods and applications in a diverse array of imaging science, including, but not limited to, biomedical imaging, digital pathology, single cell and spatial transcriptomics, satellite imaging, forensic imaging, astronomy, remote sensing, and materials science.
This year's keynote speakers are Dr. Nicole Lazar, Dr. Hernando Ombao, and Dr. Douglas Noll.
