This community will provide a toolkit for instructors of Introductory Statistics courses. The resources will include variety of data sets, notes with stimulating ways of presenting statistical concepts, and videos that can be woven into a course. These building blocks will support the teaching of courses that are dynamic and contemporary introductions to the field of statistics
The “...aftermath” column in the November 2011 issue of the MAA’s “Math Horizons” perfectly embodies The Big Mistake that some mathematicians commit when they teach introductory statistics courses: thinking of stat as a branch of math, teaching stat as though it were math, and seeing in stat only the math that's used

One link led to another, and soon I was rifling through a variety of sites associated with college courses in statistics and programming
1 Comment - One of my favorite sites is the UCLA Stat Computing lab: http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/ It doesn't contain course notes, per se, but very nice examples of how to do many useful things in SAS, SPSS, STATA, R, and other packages
