The Quality and Productivity (Q&P) Section of the American Statistical Association (ASA) will offer up to three travel awards of $400 for students enrolled in a graduate program with a concentration in applied statistics and/or quality management. The student must have a demonstrated interest in quality applications as evidenced by course work, research topic, or prior work experience. Support is offered for students to attend the Joint Statistical Meetings. Applicants either presenting a paper or participating in a poster session will receive extra consideration.
Applications must include an endorsement and a letter of support from a faculty advisor or a member of the Q&P Section of the ASA. Winners are expected to attend JSM sessions.
