Ask Richard Zink of the Biopharmaceutical Section Anything!

It's time for our first AMA after our month-long hiatus for JSM 2017! Richard Zink will join us in the Young Professionals discussion group August 29 at 1 pm EST.

In his role as Publications Officer of one of our busiest sections, the Biopharmaceutical section, Zink is also active on social media and distributes the Biopharm section's podcast. And, of course, that's all in addition to his work at SAS Institute! If you're interested in working in pharmaceuticals and clinical trials or in doing volunteer communications work for the ASA and its sections, those would be particularly fruitful questions this month. You can read Zink's full bio here:

Richard C. Zink is Principal Research Statistician Developer in the JMP Life Sciences division at SAS Institute. Prior to SAS, he spent eight years in the pharmaceutical industry. He is publications officer, 2018 chair-elect, and host of the statistics podcast for the Biopharmaceutical Section of the American Statistical Association. Richard is an Associate Editor for Therapeutic Innovation & Regulatory Science, the scientific journal of DIA, and has contributed to eight books on statistical topics in clinical trials and clinical research. Richard holds a PhD in Biostatistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he serves as an adjunct faculty member. His research interests include data visualization, the analysis of pre- and post-market adverse events, and the assessment of data integrity in clinical trials.

When: August 29, 2017, 1-2 p.m. EST
