Ready for our May AMA (short for Ask Me Anything)--your chance to ask an expert anything?

Fuentes__M_160519_029_aj_ar_4x6.jpgThis month, Montse Fuentes, dean of the Virginia Commonwealth University College of Humanities and Sciences and JASA editor (Applications and Case Studies section) will join us as our AMA guest. If you've got questions about JASA, submitting articles for publication, or Fuentes' work with atmospheric and oceanic sciences, this is your chance!

Here's a little more about Fuentes (and you can read her interview with STATtr@k, too):

Montse Fuentes is dean of the Virginia Commonwealth University College of Humanities and Sciences. She also has served as the head of the department of statistics at North Carolina State University and director for the Research Network for Statistical Methods for Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. She is an ASA Fellow.

When: May 23, 2017, 12-1 p.m. EST

Where: The Young Professionals discussion group

At 12 p.m., Fuentes will make her introduction post. To ask a question, just respond to her post! (Questions will be moderated; remember to check our our Code of Conduct before submitting a question.)

Alternatively, submit your question ahead of time using our Contact Us form <http://community.amstat.org/contactus>.

I'm looking forward to seeing questions from both our veteran AMA participants and newcomers in May! If you have any questions about the AMA, just shoot me an email.
