Biopharmaceutical Section's blog

We are excited to have started the Biopharmaceutical Section's official blog on the ASA's web site and would like to tell you a bit more about the articles that will appear on this blog.

Updates from the Section's chair and Executive Committee
This will be a series of posts written by the Chair and key EC members to provide periodic updates on what the Section's leadership has been up to, including information on important initiatives, updates from EC meetings, etc.  We will also include information about conferences organized by the Section, e.g., the Biopharmaceutical Section Regulatory-Industry Statistics Workshop, as well as about invited sessions and about training courses/continuing-education courses sponsored by the Section.

Interviews with former Biopharmaceutical Section's chairs
This series will be similar to the series of interviews with former ASA Presidents published in Amstat News.  I personally enjoy reading these interviews and I am sure Section members will enjoy learning about the challenges former section chairs faced, initiatives they put forth, and more.

Leadership series
This series will include interviews with statistical leaders among the biopharmaceutical community.

Innovation series
A series of interviews with clinical trial statisticians who are actively engaged in innovation work (statistical innovation, important collaboration initiatives, etc).

We would love to hear your thoughts -- you can share them by commenting on the individual articles.  Please remember that you will need to log in before submitting comments.
