We would like to inform you that Qatar University is organizing the international conference on “Bioinformatics and Biostatistics Applications in Cancer Genomics Research (BBACGR 2015)” April 26 – 28, 2015, at Qatar University, Doha, Qatar.

It is my great pleasure and honor to welcome and invite you to attend in our conference. The BBACGR2015 will be devoted to new challenges and innovations in all fields of bioinformatics and biostatistics from both academia and industry to come together, share, discuss, evaluate, and collaborate on the latest developments and applications related to bioinformatics and biostatistics research in cancer genomics. The main theme of the conference is

“Statistics for Better Health”.

 The BBACGR 2015 program will include peer reviewed papers, posters, exhibition and invited sessions around, but not limited to the following technical themes: 

• Cancer Research in the Post-Genome Era.
• Bioinformatics and Statistics Applications.
• Statistical Issues in Drug Design and Development.
• Contemporary Statistical Theory and Applications.

Short Course

Participants interested in interpretation and analysis of genomic data can attend a professional short course, which will be held in the second and third day, April 27-28, 2015, to demonstrate some applications of biostatistics and bioinformatics in medical, pharmaceutical and biomedical research. 

All sessions will consist of plenary lectures, invited and contributed oral and poster presentations, which will be organized to bring new visions and horizons for all the participants.
