The Alaska Chapter of the American Statistical Association provides a community for statistically-inclined people working in Alaska. Many of our members belong to the ASA, but chapter membership is not limited to ASA members. This website serves as both a communication tool for our membership and to the general public.

New Alaska Chapter Website

I have now completed the “migration” of the content from our old web-site to the new. During that process, I also did a little digging and found some additional bits-and-pieces of information from old emails as well as some of our older newsletters to fill-in some gaps in the Annual Meeting History and the Past Meeting Index … so now there are links to corresponding information for our meetings from 1997 onwards. Congratulations to Anna-Marie Benson. Anna-Marie will serve as the Chapter VP for 2013. The VP transitions into the President the subsequent year and thus, Anna-Marie will be VP in 2013 and President in 2014. read more

AK Chapter New Website-Migration

Our Chapter web-site is being re-designed (migrated from the old to the new site). The content that was on the old site will eventually be moved to the new site ---- and there may be a few links in the new site that won't work as I work on the changes.
