Here are a few updates as we're working behind the scenes planning the
Big Data Meets Survey Science (BigSurv20)
conference (November 4-6, 2020 in Utrecht, the Netherlands).
The BigSurv20 Abstract Submission Deadline is Feb. 13!

agreed to publish the BigSurv20 social science track special issue and
EPJ Data Science
the BigSurv20 computer/data science track special issue! Don't forget to indicate whether you would like your paper to be considered for either special issue when you submit your abstract.
Dr. Albert Ali Salah has been selected as the BigSurv20 keynote speaker
The BigSurv20 Scientific Committee is extremely happy to announce Albert Ali Salah as the keynote speaker at BigSurv20. Dr. Salah is professor of Social and Affective Computing at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. In his BigSurv20 keynote, he will talk about how the rich social and affective signals that humans emit can be captured with the help of modern IT systems, and how these signals can be processed and analyzed to better understand humans in their social context.
