The 30th Quality and Productivity Research Conference (QPRC) will be held at the GE Global Research headquarters in Niskayuna, NY, June 5–7, 2013. A short course will be offered on June 4, 2013. A local tour of the Albany Nanotech Complex at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, followed by a dinner cruise on the Hudson River, is planned for June 6th.
The theme of the 2013 conference is "Extracting Knowledge from a Sea of Data." The goal of the conference is to stimulate interdisciplinary research among statisticians, scientists, and engineers in quality and productivity, industrial needs, and the physical and engineering sciences. Statistical issues and research approaches drawn from collaborative research will be highlighted.
