    Dear Colleague:
Our country needs a new national data infrastructure and is capable of building it. Join us October 13 for a special event to celebrate national statistics and envision how a new data infrastructure can mobilize information for the common good.

The first of three reports funded by the National Science Foundation, Toward a 21st Century National Data Infrastructure explores the many issues surrounding a new data infrastructure and examines the foundational role of credible statistical information in the functioning of democratic societies and the need for a new data infrastructure to respond to threats and inform decisions.

    •    Full Report
    •    Report Highlights
    •    Brief for Policymakers

We hope you'll join us for this special event at a critical time for our field!

    Sincerely,
    Robert M. Groves
