    Description: As the intersection of healthcare and technology continues to expand, the role of health information technologies (HIT) is ever more critical. This panel session, initiated by AcademyHealth's HIT Interest Group, features distinguished professors who are not only leading academic figures but also successful entrepreneurs in the field of HIT (e.g., big data, digital health, artificial intelligence [AI], and machine learning). Their dual roles provide a unique vantage point for understanding the innovative landscape of health services research (HSR) and the practical challenges of implementing cutting-edge solutions in real-world healthcare settings.
