The Juarez Lincoln Marti (JLM) Int'l Ed. Project (https://web.cortland.edu/matresearch/) will present a Webinar (In Spanish) on Thursday, July 31, at 1 pm, on Statistical and Engineering Methods to Help Mitigate the negative effects of Droughts and Floods, based on the report (PDF) A Tutorial on Quality Engineering Methods to Mitigate Yearly Drought and Flood Cycles in Tropical Climates

This is a significant problem in Latin America, where most countries enjoy only two seasons: rain and drought. Interested parties contact the JLM Project.

    Keep safe/jorge.

PS The Webinar took place today and covered a Six Sigma DMAIC approach to the prevention/mitigation of floods. The Juarez Lincoln Marti (JLM) Int'l Ed. Project will give another Webinar, in Spanish, the first week of September (Link TBA). It will cover a Six Sigma DMAIC to the prevention/mitigation of drought problems. Interested parties can contact the JLM Project.
