The International Society for Business and Industrial Statistics (ISBIS) is an association of the International Statistical Institute (ISI) dedicated to promoting business and industrial statistics worldwide. ISBIS promotes the application, research, and best practices of statistics in business and industry, facilitating technology transfer and bridging communication between members and practitioners worldwide.
The International Symposium on Business and Industrial Statistics (ISBIS 2024) is the main event of ISBIS. Since its beginning in Sydney in 2005, the biennial conferences have been held in the Czech Republic (2008), Slovenia (2010), Bangkok (2012), the USA (2014), Barcelona (2016), Greece (2018), and Italy (2022). In 2024, we are returning to the extraordinary Southeast Asia.
The ISBIS 2024 will be held in Jogjakarta, Central Java, Indonesia, from July 11-13, 2024, in collaboration with the Department of Statistics of the Universitas Islam Indonesia, Yogyakarta, Indonesia-more information at https://isbis.uii.ac.id/.

- Submission of proposals for Invited Paper Sessions and Short Courses: March 30, 2024
- Abstract submission for Contributed Papers and Contributed Posters: April 1, 2024
- Notification of abstract acceptance: April 5, 2024
- Submission of full paper: April 15, 2024
- First Decision on the submission of full paper: May 15, 2024
- Submission of the last version of the paper: June 8, 2024
- Early bird registration and payment of the registration fee: June 11, 2024
Young researchers (up to 5 years after their last academic degree) attending the ISBIS 2024 will have the possibility to compete for the "Best paper award in Business and Industrial Statistics" and for the "Best Poster Award in Business and Industrial Statistics".
Abstracts for contributed talks and posters can be submitted online until April 1, 2024.
