The journal Laboratory Animals in now inviting abstract proposals for a special issue on biostatistics in animal research. The objective is to create a collection of biostatistics notes (1500–2000 words) accessible to non-statistician researchers. The article should be:
1. Non-technical, not heavily mathematical, and written in an accessible style for non-statistician readers.
2. Driven by problems in applied statistics relevant to laboratory research with animals. Theoretical articles on mathematical concepts are not appropriate.
3. Written to clarify or simplify a theoretical concept, debunk a recognized misconception, or expose pitfalls related specific topic.
• ABSTRACT PROPOSALS should not exceed 500 words maximum
• DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION is 01 Sept 2023
Decision for acceptance will be made by 15 Sept 2023, Deadline for final article submission will be February 2024.
