ASA's Membership Council is sponsoring several events and sessions at JSM 2025. The Membership Council is composed of those committees which support the Membership Growth area of the Strategic Plan in a broad sense: by identifying ways to meet the needs of underserved groups; by considering ways to build and retain membership in traditional sectors of the ASA; and by serving the needs of minority groups within the ASA.
Many of the MC's JSM activities support the JSM theme "Statistics, Data Science, and AI Enriching Society" and ASA President Lee's AI: A Call to Action for the Statistics Field.
