Postdoctoral Associate Position in Biostatistics, Yale University
Description:
A postdoctoral associate position will be offered by the Department of Biostatistics at Yale University under the supervision of Dr. Shuangge Ma (Shuangge.ma@yale.edu). The postdoc will be involved in developing novel high-dimensional methodologies with applications to cancer genetic studies. Specific areas may include but are not limited to genetic interaction analysis, network analysis, regularized estimation, high-dimensional computing and others. Beyond independent research, the postdoc will also be involved in scientific collaborations in cancer studies.
Qualifications:
A successful candidate should have a recent doctoral degree in statistics, biostatistics, or a related area. Research experience in the aforementioned areas is preferred.
Additional Information:
Following Yale regulations, the initial appointment will be one year, with the intention to renew for a second year or longer. Compensation and benefit will follow Yale and NIH guidelines.
