Clemson University's degree in Applied Health Research and Evaluation provides a high-quality foundation in health research methodology and analysis through collaboration with faculty as well as community and clinical mentors. Currently, our faculty are working on a wide range of projects, infectious disease epidemiology, evaluation of public health strategies in infectious diseases, policy evaluation, and health disparities research. Assistantships in research and teaching give students opportunities to work on these funded research projects and build skills in:
- Statistical and mathematical modeling
- Epidemiological research design and analysis
- Policy and Health economics analysis
- Clinical and community-based intervention effectiveness
