- Why: Get mentors informed about: (1) their roles; (2) upcoming events; (3) a few tips for recruiting and retention
The Math Alliance works very hard to diversify the mathematical and statistical sciences. With over 300 mentors coming from statistics, we already make up about 15 percent of the group. But increased involvement is definitely welcomed. We encourage more faculty to engage as mentors, and we invite current mentors to become more active. Join the session to learn about the various ways to get involved.
