This message is for the JSM attendees who would like more information about grant opportunities available at the National Science Foundation (NSF), particularly in the Division of Mathematical Sciences (DMS).
Dear JSM2020 Participant,
This year NSF is one of the JSM exhibitors and as a part of the conference activities offers a limited number of one-to-one virtual meetings with Statistics Program Directors for short (20 min) Q&A sessions.
To schedule a session:
- Under EXPO, view exhibitor 'National Science Foundation'
- On the left-hand side of the page, choose 'Schedule Video Call', select the time you want to meet, and provide relevant info, if any.
- It may happen that at the time selected none of the program officers are available, but someone will get to you and try to schedule a time convenient to both parties.
- Available times: Tuesday 8/4 12pm-5:30pm (ET), Wednesday 8/5 9:00am-5:30pm (ET), and Thursday 8/6 12:00pm-5:30pm (ET).
Unfortunately, unlike the previous years when in-person meetings could be parallel, this year only a single video channel is available, that is, no concurrent Q&A sessions are possible. Still, we hope to talk to as many of you as possible!
