The ICSA 2017 Applied Statistical Symposium will be held from June 25 (Sunday) to June 28 (Wednesday) in Chicago, Illinois. The symposium will feature about 15 short courses on June 25 and scientific programs including keynote speeches, invited sessions, topic contributed sessions and contributed sessions on 25th –28th. It also includes student paper contests and social events. This year will mark ICSA's 30th anniversary and a series of celebration activities are being planned. 1. Invited sessions and topic-contributed sessions submission is closed. A list of these sessions and a draft schedule is posted at the program page. Please find your session number before registration. Contributed talk online submission opens Feb 1, along with online registration, short course registration, hotel reservation! Please check bioinfo.stats.northwestern.edu/~icsa.
2. The symposium has partnered with University of Illinois Chicago to provide an economical lodging option with $52 per night ( for single occupancy) or $40 per night per person(double occupancy). There is public transportation between the University and symposium hotel. Economy housing Reservation will open March 25.
3. Are you looking for a job? Our career services have employers with many employment opportunities. Submit your CV in advance, talk to employers at the meeting to secure an interview on the spot or on site. Please see our career service page for more details.
4. We are calling for student award papers. Send your paper and required materials before March 15, 2017 to symposium2017@icsa.org. For details, please go to the webpage.
