    On Thursday, July 30, the Data Foundation is sponsoring a free webinar to launch a new white paper that builds on the recommendations of the U.S. Commission on Evidence-Based Policymaking to outline a strategy for implementing a new National Secure Data Service.     A Strategy for Modernizing Data Infrastructure in the United States: Implementing a National Secure Data Service

    With support from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, the Data Foundation is publishing a new resource with an implementation strategy for a new government data service. Initially recommended by the U.S. Commission on Evidence-Based Policymaking, a data service would provide meaningful opportunities to produce insights for support improving government policies and responding to economic and health crises. During this one-hour webinar, the co-authors will provide an overview of the need for a data service in the federal government, key considerations for developing such a service, and an implementation strategy for moving forward.
