Dear Statistics experts,
We are turning the corner around the UK, and heading to the Library of ALexandria Beacon of Knowledge. The voyage on our Statistical Cruise lines sadly will be over in a few days. As Indicated the 12,000 research methods books will make the BA Serageldin library the largest stastistics and research methods library in the world. Again, we must thank the Library, Fritz, Janet and Ron, what a group!! Also the ~150 book donors have been wonderful
The Library of ALexandria is considering also building a Library of ALexandria math book library. We have a proof of concept that we can gather research methods books, and where else would one want include their precious math books to preserve them for years to come. The number of math books is larger than research methods, but likely could be done now the our vast experience with cargo ships. If we collect 12,000 books we will have built the 4th largest math library. BUilding the largest research methods library and the 4th largest math library, and having them housed for centuries would be a really nice legacy for the library and all of us.
I will be talking with the director of the library of alexandria next sunday.
