The National Numeracy Network (NNN) will hold its annual meeting (30 presentations) at the Univ. New Mexico Albuquerque. Fri-Sun this week: Oct 21-23 starting at 5:30 pm MDT. The focus is on Statistical Literacy: Math1300. Dr. Larry Lesser (UTEP) will deliver the Friday evening keynote:
Context for a Statistical Literacy Course. Talks will be given by teachers and students. Math 1300 is arguably one of the very few courses that are GAISE 2016 compliant: a strong emphasis on multivariate thinking and confounding.
