    Position Summary:
    A successful candidate will be expected to provide innovative and excellent instruction, advise graduate students, conduct and publish research (collaboratively or individually), and participate in typical university, college, and departmental activities.

    The Applied Statistics Program offers an M.S. degree in Applied Statistics and a variety of service courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. There are many opportunities to collaborate and publish with university faculty in other fields.     Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in statistics or a closely related field prior to date of hire.

    Preferred Qualifications: Experience in teaching applied statistics and collaborating on applied research projects is highly desired. We are particularly interested in applicants who can apply traditional methods of statistical inference to business, engineering, and the biological and agricultural sciences.
