ASA Connect

The 36th New England Statistics Symposium (NESS) will be hosted by the Department of Biostatistics and the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at Boston University (BU) from June 3-6, 2023. It will be a hybrid conference, with in-person sessions held at BU Charles River Campus in Boston, MA, and all sessions broadcast live via Zoom and Whova. 

Students are encouraged to participate and submit their research for the following competitions sponsored by various industry partners.

• Student research awards (submissions due April 24; https://symposium.nestat.org/awards.html)

• Student poster awards (submissions due April 24; https://symposium.nestat.org/awards.html)

• Statathon data challenge (registration closes on May 8; https://statathon.nestat.org/)
