Do you know of an outstanding mentor who has been instrumental in advancing the careers of women in statistics? Please consider nominating a colleague for the COPSS E.L. Scott Award which recognizes an individual who exemplifies the contributions of Elizabeth L. Scott's lifelong efforts to further the careers of women in academia. The award is granted to an individual who has helped foster opportunities in statistics for women. The award, given biennially (even years), consists of a plaque and an honorarium of $2,000, and is presented at the Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM). The winner will also deliver the E. L. Scott Lecture at JSM 2022. Nominations are due 12/15/2021.
