    Invitation to "Statistics at a Crossroads" Webinar at noon (EDT) on July 9

    As a follow-up to the NSF Workshop "Statistics at a Crossroads: Challenges and Opportunities in the Data Science Era"  <https://hub.ki/groups/statscrossroad/overview>, we will host a webinar on Tuesday, July 9,  from noon to 1 pm (Eastern Daylight Time), to seek broader community input in identifying

    (1) Grand challenges to statistical research in the next 10-20 years;

    (2) Best investment opportunities in statistics and data science from NSF and other funding agencies.

    The webinar will start with a brief overview of what has been discussed so far, but we need your wisdom and input for this important project. The main objective of the webinar is to hear from the participants. After an introduction and group discussions, everyone will be asked to provide further input through an online google form.
