In conjunction with the upcoming conference of the International Biometric Society Eastern Mediterranean Region (to be held virtually on Tuesdays, April 13, 20 and 27; more information coming soon), Frontier Science Foundation Hellas is supporting student awards in memory of Prof. Stephen Lagakos. Two awardees will each receive an honorarium of 300 Euros and will give a 20-minute talk during the conference.
Graduate students from anywhere are eligible. To apply, please send
- an extended abstract of up to 4 pages using the Latex template at https://sites.google.com/view/emr-2021/student-awards;
- a letter from your supervisor certifying that you are currently a student.
The extended abstract must be sent by Friday, March 5 to info@frontier-science.gr with subject "EMR 2021 - student awards".
The winners will be chosen by Monday, March 15.
