Description:
A postdoctoral associate position will be jointly offered by the Cooperative Studies Program Coordinating Center (CSPCC), VA Connecticut Healthcare System, West Haven, CT and the Department of Biostatistics at Yale University, New Haven, CT. The successful candidate will be actively engaged in various phases of clinical trials conducted at CSPCC (planning, protocol and statistical analysis plan development, enrollment and follow-up, analysis). In addition, he/she will conduct independent methodological research possibly in the following areas: high-dimensional data analysis, clinical trial design (adaptive design and Bayesian), survival analysis, and genetic epidemiology.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a recent doctoral degree in statistics, biostatistics, or a related area. Research experience in the aforementioned areas and proficiency in statistical computing are preferred.
