Later this spring, the WSS will hold its annual election for several positions on the Board of Directors. Please consider running for office – it's a great way to serve the membership, hone your leadership skills, and network and socialize with colleagues across the DC area and beyond.
For the 2022 election, the following positions are open:
President-Elect (July 2022 to June 2023)
- Nominees from the U.S. Government workforce accepted – see below
- Transition to President (July 2023 to June 2024) and then Past-President (July 2024 to June 2025)
Treasurer (July 2022 to June 2024)
Representative-at-Large (July 2022 to June 2024)
Communications Officer (July 2022 to June 2024)
Methodology Program Chair (July 2022 to June 2023)
- transition to Methodology Section Chair (July 2023 to June 2024)
Nominees for President-Elect alternate between the government and non-government sectors. For the 2022 election, nominees for President-Elect are accepted from the government sector. For any other position, nominees may come from either the government or the non-government sectors.
For all of the positions listed above, we heartily welcome nominations from any WSS member including self-nominations.
