On behalf of the Rochester Chapter of the ASA, I am pleased to inform you that during our monthly meeting on Monday, November 15, 2021, Dr. Katherine Grzesik (Assistant Professor of Statistics, University of Rochester) will be giving a 15 minute mini talk on Swirl towards the beginning of the meeting. https://rit.zoom.us/j/92132911409What: "Starting R with Swirl" - In this miniature demonstration, we will explore an interactive tool useful for learning and teaching the basics of the R programming language. The Swirl package is an R package that can even be used in RCloud for those new to installing R. Instructors can create their own Swirl courses to teach their students particular skills. Come see what it's about!
We would like to invite all interested fellow statisticians and ASA members to attend this mini talk. There will be other agenda items discussed afterwards.
