    The Department of Mathematics and Statistics anticipates appointment of an Assistant Professor in Statistics beginning Fall 2020. A Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics, or a closely related field by the date of appointment is required.

    The Department seeks to hire for a full-time probationary appointment leading to a tenure decision as an Assistant Professor in Statistics to begin August 01, 2020. The Department expects to hire a specialist in Statistics and is open to various theoretical and methodological approaches, although preference will be given to those candidates who can help expand the groups interactions with other departments and/or local laboratories and industry. The ability to collaborate and interact with others is also desirable.

    A complete application consists of an application cover letter, curriculum vitae, a description of research interests and a teaching statement.
