  • 1.  A Sneak Preview of a Survey Conducted in North Korea

    Posted 07-28-2016 22:41

Interested in a survey conducted in North Korea? Come and offer your insights in a JSM Topic-Contributed Panel that present in-depth findings from the first self-administered survey conducted in North Korea, perhaps the most hard-to-access country.

ASA members and leading scholars of North Korea were involved in data collection and analysis, including data visualization. For those interested in using this North Korean survey data for research or a teaching tool, this panel sponsored by Social Statistics Section offers a sneak of preview of survey challenges, innovative methodology and empirical findings useful to understanding social fabric of North Korea.

I worded the above poorly.  I should have said something like, "Would the risks involved in answering the survey honestly lead to a highly biased sample?"
