    Everyone,

    Some of you have probably seen this article, "Composite Endpoints in Clinical Trials" by Sarah C.P. Williams published in The Scientist.  If you haven't, and even if you are not interested in biostats, please take a moment to read it.  This article includes a discussion of the importance of combining valid statistical analyses with clear communication of statistical results to explain correctly the results of research to a broad audience.  It might be of particular interest to statistical educators who need an accessible example for their students.
