  • 1.  Modeling partially repeated measures data

    Posted 03-16-2016 22:26

    Hello

I have a modeling question where the outcome variable is binary and the factors are a mix of continuous and categorical. Some of the observations have repeated measures (repeated only twice), and others are not repeated.

Any suggestions on how to analyze the data would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Have you considered GEE??

GEE is a good idea, but you also might try creating a model with only the initial measurement (especially if there is a lot of missing data) as well as creating a GEE model which should be fine if the observations are missing at random on the second observation.  See if the models are materially different.  I might also consider imputing data for the second observation if there isn't too much missing.

Thanks to both of you for your suggestions. I will give it a try.
