The Department of Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Biomathematics, a growing academic department of Georgetown University Medical Center, is seeking a tenure-track faculty at open rank (assistant to full professor). The ideal candidate for this position is expected to have a strong record of methodological research, grant funding, collaborative research, and evidence of excellence in teaching and mentoring graduate students. Ample opportunities exist in biostatistics and data science research, teaching, and collaborative research with the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCSG) and the Georgetown-Howard University Clinical and Translational Research Institute (CTSA). The candidate must possess a PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Operations Research, or related, with expertise in clinical and translational research areas including clinical trials, statistical bioinformatics, statistical methods for cancer epidemiology (e.g., causal inference and population modeling), high-dimensional genomics and transcriptome analysis, or other relevant biostatistics research areas.
